[3] D. Keck: Discuss the standard toolbar in Cabri II:
I would review each option, giving examples of what each option
means, and highlight a few of the less intuitive options. So this
is more "what's available on the toolbar and what the options mean."

[3] D. Keck: Basic object creation:
During this talk, I would go into more depth on actual object
creation, and manipulation including how to add labels, change
object properties, and moving and rotating objects. This talk is more
"how to actually use the different toolbar options."
Quiz
2/18:
[1] B. White: I will plan on discusing MATLAB's random number generator
and will create an m-file to spotlight an application or two
(I cover m-file creation on Feb. 6).
This will be an easy-to-follow program geared to those unfamiliar with
random numbers.
I will then demonstrate the one-click html publishing feature.
I will also include some notes on the different plotting techniques
in MATLAB (scatter, histogram, etc.)

[3] D. Keck: Create an interactive homework (HW) assignment
that can be completed via Cabri, Word, Powerpoint, or calculator. (20 min.):
I'll create a specific problem, like inscribing a circle in a triangle and
take the class through the process from beginning to end.
One major subtopics would include macro construction so once a
particular activity is created, the work can be repeated with the click of
a button. The second major subtopic would cover exporting
the Cabri activity to HTML, Word, Powerpoint, and the TI, so
students with varying technical resources can still have
an interactive HW experience. Quiz
2/27:
[1] K. Ewing: How to use Excel Solver to easily solve these problems and
also solve problems with 3 or more variables that cannot be solved
by graphing. (20 min.)
