     and will create an m-file to spotlight an application or two
    (I cover m-file creation on Feb. 6).
     This will be an easy-to-follow program geared to those unfamiliar with
     random numbers.
     I will then demonstrate the one-click html publishing feature.
     I will also include some notes on the different plotting techniques
     in MATLAB (scatter, histogram, etc.)

     I'll create a specific problem, like inscribing a circle in a triangle and

     take the class through the process from beginning to end. 

     One major subtopics would include macro construction so once a 

     particular activity is created, the work can be repeated with the click of

     a button. The second major subtopic would cover exporting 

     the Cabri activity to HTML, Word, Powerpoint, and the TI, so

     students with varying technical resources can still have

[2] K. Ewing: some basic operations using Excel's Data Analysis feature,
     which provides statistical analysis of simple data sets for use in
     introductory statistics courses. Emphasis will be on descriptive
     statistics, correlation between variables, and basic graphing.

[3] M. Bihn: Introduction to Math Visualization Toolkit(MVT) I.
There is a long list of functions in the tool, starting from graphing simple functions for algebra level to plotting directioon field and ODE for Diff Eq. It is a tool that is in development, The website is advertising for help on ongoing development. This tool is a product of UC Boulder, and could be a up and coming tool of choice. It is uasable for High School through College students. It could be used by teachers to quickly plot functions to be cut and paste into slide presentations.    File
